Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHOH)

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHOH) team supports students with hearing loss so they can fully participate in school. Teachers of the Deaf help students build academic, language, communication, and social skills. American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters provide interpretation during the school day. Students may use spoken language, sign language, or both.
The Vision team supports students with vision loss so they can fully participate in school. Vision instructors help students build academic, daily living, and social skills. They also teach students how to move safely and independently. Students may use braille and other learning materials adapted to meet their needs.
